Location: Stoned Backwash Reserve 

At 18, PortMan had their first cruising experience at Emerald Park Lake Toilet while on a stop from riding Puffing Billy scenic train. They encountered a gorgeous man changing out of black Speedos who made their visit memorable. 

Living in the isolated Dandenong’s, this was their first taste of cruising in the late 70s. As a 18-year-old, they would also visit dirty bookshops in Melbourne City without any hassle. On their 19th birthday, they even went to Steam Works sauna in the city. When they moved to the city at 20, they would often ride their bike from Fairfield Boat House in Clifton Hill to the city, and if nothing was happening, they would head to the Subway Sauna for some action.
