Papi G’s journey of self-discovery as a bisexual person began later in life after being hindered by Focusing on their career in the armed forces for over eight years. Despite occasional visits to public toilets with glory holes, they were initially alarmed by the sight of men showing off on the other side. However, over time, their curiosity and arousal grew, and these places gradually became their only outlet for exploring their sexuality. 

As they were in a Defence job in a “don’t ask, don’t tell” era, they were always apprehensive about the risk of being caught or recognised, which would have had serious consequences for their career. It was only after retiring from the armed forces that Papi G felt free to explore their sexuality in an age where they had access to greater information and apps.
